I may or may not consider aromatherapy a miracle cure for serious emotional issues – I do know they have been a saving grace for me. I tend to feel all the feels often and essential oils have enhanced my emotional outlook and have provided support, helping me balance my emotions.
2020 has undoubtedly been a rough ride for many of us, taking a toll on our mental, physical, and spiritual health. Fortunately, there are many essential oils that can address the multiple emotions and feelings that are building up with all the current events that have saddened and depressed our minds, bodies, and our economy.
Below, I have listed 10 Essential Oils that I like to use for my emotional wellness ++ a few of the many benefits that each of them offer.
LAVENDER – Lower anxiety, ease tension, and combat insomnia with Lavender essential oil. The aroma of Lavender is calming, soothing, and relaxing.
FRANKINCENSE – Start your day on a positive note with Frankincense, it will aid you in focusing your intention for the day. The aroma of Frankincense will also bring added satisfaction, peace, relaxation, and feelings of overall wellness.
PATCHOULI – This grounding, soothing, and peace-inducing essential oil is perfect for helping you achieve maximum relaxation.
NEROLI – When inhaled, Neroli may help the brain release serotonin and reduce levels of cortisol, a stress hormone. Neroli is said to alleviate stress and enhance mood.
BERGAMOT – Known to reduce anxiety, stress, and alleviate symptoms of depression. Bergamot’s aroma is uplifting, refreshing, and stimulating.
ROSE – Increasing “feel-good” hormones like dopamine and serotonin, Rose acts as a natural antidepressant. Use Rose essential oil for more positivity in your life.
